Nicki Stanton believes that reading stories allows people to look through windows and step through doors into other lived experiences. The ability to understand another person’s experience is more important than ever. Nicki's bookshelf is filled with a lot of literary fiction, young adult fantasy, dystopian, and contemporary fiction. She spent eleven years helping people with disabilities get access to accommodations and now spends her time reading and writing, but mostly reading.

​Jamie Robyn Wood is the author of Bearskin, a Young Adult fairy-tale retelling published by Sweetwater Books in 2015. A graduate of Vermont College's MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults, Jamie is a believer in the power of story and creativity in our lives. She currently lives in Pocatello, Idaho with her husband, six children, and a smattering of pets. ​
