Hares & Hatters Wonderland Foundation
Here at Hares and Hatters Bookshop we are passionate about helping our community build a lifelong love of reading, learning, and literacy.
We aim to build our literary community; provide access to books, educational programs, and literacy initiatives; and invest in community partnerships throughout Pocatello and the surrounding areas. Guided by the belief that literacy can be a way to promote community, empathy, and education we strive to cultivate a literacy culture where stories, knowledge, and lifelong learning are accessible to everyone.
We are working to build a more literate, engaged, and connected community—one great read at a time!
Our journey...
When we opened our doors in 2024 it became clear that there were some amazing opportunities to support literacy in our community. We are frequently asked for donations and support for various organizations doing incredible work. Our desire to support and help made us realize we need a better way to look at opportunities to make sure we are doing the most good. One step at a time, we hope to develop a foundation that can help our community in meaningful ways. Our hope is that this foundation will help support the great work that many organizations are already doing to foster community, literacy, and learning in Pocatello and the surrounding areas, as well as looking at additional needs that aren't yet being met.
If you are interested in helping with the financial support needed for this work, please reach out! We would love to talk to you about the work we are doing and how you can help.
